2023 Kason Graves Golden Ambition Scholarship— $1,000 Award

The Kason Graves Golden Ambition Scholarship was established by Troy, Kayla, and Kandice Graves in collaboration with The Lost Generation to honor the memory of former La Vega graduate, Kason Graves. Kason was committed to the principles of excellence, compassion, authencity, and creativity and proudly lived his life as an example of these qualities. The scholarship aims to celebrate his life by supporting students who share the same passion, drive, and values. Winning the scholarship can be a significant accomplishment for high school seniors, and can help to reduce the financial burden of pursuing higher education. Additionally, the scholarship can provide students with valuable networking opportunities and recognition for their academic and leadership achievements. The scholarship amount of $1,000 can be used to cover tuition fees, textbooks, living expenses, or any other education-related costs. By supporting the education of promising students who share their vision, the scholarship ensures that Kason Graves' impact continues to be felt for generations to come.

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Be a Graduating Senior at La Vega High School 
  • Have Aspirations & Plans to Attend a 2-year or 4-year College
  • A 2.75 GPA at Minimum is Recommended, but not Required
  • High School Transcript will be Required at a Later Date for Verification Purposes

All submission entries will be examined by The Lost Generation’s Scholarship Committee. The Lost Generation does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability. Once the winner has been selected, we will notify La Vega High School to formally present the scholarship.
